What's her story?
Woo-Mama is a traditional African mother with a contemporary look. She is sweet and strong, you can see her baking mielie bread and hear her singing lullabies. Woo Mama grows vegetables and makes home-made beer, and she loves to drive up and down the hills in her 4x4 Bakkie. Everywhere she goes baby goes too, snugly held in a shweshwe blanket pouch on her back. Woo Mama represents all the warm-hearted mothers of Africa and celebrates the hard work they do.
Woo-Mama says 'Molweni' and her baby says 'Howzit'. *(Xhosa and South African words meaning hello!)
What can you do with her?
Woo Mama's blanket and baby are all separate so you you can take them off and put them back, which is a great game for little girls. Keep her on your display shelf and take her down to tell stories about motherhood. Give her to new and expectant mothers, and take her home with you as a souvenir so she can remind you of Africa. She fits in with any modern, eclectic, or African home decor.
